Artwork: "Mmba MMbaba MM" Illustrated book
The book tells her story of being born deaf. At the age of three and a half she had cochlear implant surgery and at the age of four began to hear. In first grade she knew only 20 words. "Until this very day I live in two parallel worlds- one hearing and the other not", she tells. In her final project for her BA she chose to create a book that would express her experiences and sensations through words and images.

Tamar was born in Jerusalem in 1990 and was drawn to illustration from a young age.
Graduated at the Bezalel Art Academy in Visual Communications majoring in Illustration. She is presently working as a children's book illustrator.
