Danalogue 2018
The Greek word Plasticos means to sculpt or redesign. The work tries to trace the phenomenon of plastic surgery and tries to put a mirror to our lives and create a hypothetical but possible world in which people dream of “plastic dreams” without limit. A world in which humans try to improve, preserve and transform artificiality into a model that defeats nature. The work attempts to explore topics such as “beauty ideal” and femininity, as well as to address the question of the connection between an individual and a collective and a body versus a soul.
The work is supported by the Israeli Ministry of Culture and Sport.
