The wall I choose to shoot in a different way than usual for I take a large format, make double exposures and overly expose the plates. I take these actions in order to win and overtake the realistic separation of the ground. My position regarding the wall is brought to evident as I choose to reveal the “gray area", the non-visible and complicated daily life of which the majority of the world does not know of. The wall represents a world of segregation, aggression, pain and suffering. When I look at the long row of concrete slabs, I find with in it a sculptural element of nature. I look at the wall and examine it. The statue, which serves a protracted war, fighting nature and the roots of the trees around it. The question is who will win in the end - the ancient tree roots that lie beneath the surface or the new concrete blocks imbedded in the ground.
