Renen Itzhaki (Tel Aviv, March 1988) met Dana Maor at the age of 15, in Thelma Yellin High-School. Together, they travelled in Poland, Israel and many other locations imaginatively. In their conversations they talked mostly about the future, about emotions and about art. Their conversations in Dana’s car are recalled in particular. Renen and Dana have seen each other lastly in April 2010.

Renen is an artist in the crossing fields of performance art, dance, text and video. He is holding a BA in Dance, Context and Choreography from the Interuniversity Center for Dance in Berlin, based in Berlin since 2011. His works are mainly research-based, conceptual and deal with themes of self-reflection, processes of art making, institutional critique and memory. In his works he tends to blur genre’s definitions, thus creating a multi-disciplinary space that turn the audience into active participants. Renen Itzhaki presented his works in different venues in Israel, Germany, Finland, The Netherlands, Denmark and Brazil.
