The film deals with the tension between Jews and Arabs around water, through the eyes of two characters and their homes. The view of black water tanks on the roofs of houses in Arab neighborhoods opposing white solar heaters in Jewish neighborhoods is a common Jerusalem landscape. The film combines classic animation and a collage of black and white photographs taken throughout Jerusalem.
Leigh Chen, a graduate of the Department of Visual Communication at Bezalel. For the past four years I have lived and studied in Jerusalem, a city that made me look around with criticism and compassion, motifs which are expressed in my works. Today I live in Tel Aviv, beginning my professional life as a designer in the ‘big city’.
