The book “A strange fire” deals with personal stories and complex identities through 
photography. It emphasizes one central principle: the principle of difference and liberty. It praises the right of the individual or the collective to adopt various practices in the community, religion, education, gender and sexuality.
The images capture different characters from the Israeli society in their search for self-expression and social acceptance or the complete opposite- total rebellion.
