Art work: Destructive songs  (In Hebrew also means “Lullabies”)

The beginning point of the project was thinking how does Facebook reflects the society we live in, or in other words: face of society as face of the feed.

Later on I started searching for inciting posts that were written on Facebook, I quoted them to posters as if they were poems, when the size of the poster is relative to the amount of “likes” it got – 1like = 3mm. The Abysmal seriousness, the lyricalness and the respect for the written word that we see in poems contradict the moment of passion that people that wrote these posts might have experienced.

The posters give these posts stability, and deny you from scrolling down. The reactions to the posts were arranged and designed as poetry books, with the additional pictures that were part of the original posts, or the posts’ subject.
