Cornelia was born in Germany and studied contemporary dance at Institut delTeatre, Barcelona and at Hochschulefür Musik und Tanz, Köln, where she graduated with her Diploma.
She collected experience with several, renowned choreographers as Rafaele Giovanola, Jennifer Muller, Fabien Prioville, Henrietta Horn and others.While working as a professional dancer, Cornelia started to operate in Dance Theater and took part in a piece of the Hungarian Choreographer and Dramaturge
Kristóf Szabó, danced a season with the “Theater der Klänge” in Düsseldorf and also made her way to Israel to dance in creations of Lior Lev.
Cornelia joined the Jerusalem Dance Theater in April 2013.

The piece – GESTUS- is an excerpt of a work in progress.
In this work the choreographer asks about the use of hand gestures while we speak.
The dancers explore the meaning of gestures through body movement.
Can we communicate with each other without gestures?
