Bar's work deals with articulating the space in which humanity and world find their meeting point. This space, where the human productive sphere seen as culture and the world seen as 'nature' make contact, holds the ideal line separating and giving birth to a whole set of dichotomies: the rational and the pre-rational, the social and the pre-social, the natural and the artificial. Under this guiding thread, by transforming the mechanically reproduced into the 'naturally'-given and unique, Bar's art seeks to examine and tackle head on the question of the 'longing for nature' and it’s impossible resolve.
