”The fragility of the material touches me, moves me. When I reached the technique with which I’m working, there was a moment when I felt that I found a treasure...Something in the unorganized line, in the gentleness, evokes wonder inside me. Old texts seem like kinds of lines to me, exist and but don’t exist, meaningful and unclear, there’s something exciting in them.”

Ayala embroiders and draws lines on porcelain with the look of textile, combines traditional techniques to a nowadays hybrid creature, this is a personal interpretation to the scrolls, calligraphy and old texts.
