Artwork: ‘Certified Copy’

‘Certified Copy’ deals with the gap between “source” and translation, and the difficulty of translating feelings into words.
By observing the nature, and through visual impressions, the project examines other forms of nonverbal communication, in which the rules of the language are the sun, the day and the night, gravity - the basic rules of our world.

Anat Gutberg (1988) is a visual artist and a graphic designer, based in Tel Aviv.
Studied at the School of Visual Theatre (2012) and graduated from the Visual Communication department at Bezalel Academy of Arts & Design in Jerusalem (2018). Took part in a student exchange program at Weißensee kunsthochschule berlin (2016 - 2017). Anat works in a combination of different media and techniques, including animation, video art, sound, collage, drawing, sculpture and installation.
